Fear of the Lord

The Fear of the Lord is the Beginning of Wisdom!  Ps. 103, Ps. 118 and Joel 2:25-26.   God says that His people will never be put to shame!  He heals all our diseases, restores our youth, and no matter what our circumstances are – we praise Him!  This life can leave scars inside and out, but God restores us and brings back our innocence.  Fear the Lord – reverence, respect, obedience – His kindness and compassion is overwhelming toward us when we don’t deserve it.  The closer we get to God, the more we tremble before His awesome presence,  yet at the same time, we sometimes are afraid that He would leave, or that He would remove His presence from us - that would be a greater loss than any.  The Lord is on our side.  What can man do to me?  Trust in the Lord is better than anything.  The enemy will surround us, but in the name of the Lord Jesus, we will defeat them.  We sit at the right hand of the Lord Jesus; we are seated in heavenly places with Him … the chief cornerstone.  (Eph. 2:6).  Send now prosperity – He has blessed us already, 118:25.  Jesus is the ultimate warrior – the ultimate war vet.  v. 6  the Lord is near me.  v. 7 the Lord is for me.  We need to allow God to work through men as well and we need to help sometime.  v. 10-11 – the enemy surrounds us and God will cut them off – it says it 3 x! – a significant number.  We don’t sit and pray and say, “God do this or that”.  No, in the name of the Lord we need to go out and do what God wants us to do and help usher in the revival and rapture!!

Is. 6 – Holy …. I am undone …. Rev. 4:8 – we enter into His presence when we join the angels in praising God and singing Worship.  God has called us to be His and we get to say “Holy, Holy, Holy!”

We had an awesome study before we left the mountain.  We talked about what our focus needs to be and how we need to stay in God’s presence 24/7 – in constant communion.  When we got back to the house, I fixed breakfast (64 hours of fasting!), then we went downstairs and got busy again with life stuff!  I was in a stage of agitation most of the day – we only have until Friday to come up with the car payment (it went from $428 to $817 because we are so late).   I guess I just wanted to be back outside again in the mountains.  We did have a letter waiting for us from Phyllis and a check for $25.  Praise God!  I also got $6.65 from Udemy (for my online flute lessons) in my paypal. God keeps saying, “don’t despise small beginnings.”  I guess I was in great expectation because I believe God’s word and that He will supply all our needs.  I have to keep waiting.
