Snow came to the Mountains

It snowed yesterday in the mountains.  It was beautiful.  Since I was teaching in CS yesterday morning, after wards I went around taking tons of pictures.

This morning on Facebook:   Jesse Duplantis says, “You see, the devil doesn’t have any new tricks. The boy has an old repertoire and he’s using the same old tactics on you that he’s been using on mankind for thousands of years. What is his greatest tool? Deception!  Everything he says is either an outright lie or a twisted truth. The devil will use his deceptive tactics like a tool to uproot your life and to steer you off course––to steal the good future that God has in store for you. If he can deceive your mind, then all those things like discontent, discouragement and disappointment can work their way into your life. Those kinds of things can open the door to temptation, and if you aren’t careful, you’ll end up doing things you never thought you’d do.  The devil may try to steal, kill and destroy your life, but that doesn’t mean that it’s inevitable that he’s going to be successful. In Isaiah 54:17, the Word promises that, “No weapon that is formed against thee shall prosper; and every tongue that shall rise against thee in judgment thou shalt condemn. This is the heritage of the servants of the LORD, and their righteousness is of Me, saith the LORD.”  You have more power than you think! You have a heritage of faith, and while the devil may formulate ways to harm you, the Bible says that his weapons won’t prosper.”

I needed to be reminded of this.  I get so bound up about things and forget to just trust that God’s got everything under control.  He doesn’t need my help!
